John Armour

Position: Senior Superintendent - Employed Since 1995

John Armour is a Senior Superintendent with American Constructors. John’s experience in the construction industry includes work as a Laborer, Carpenter Helper, Concrete Finisher, Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. John graduated from DeKalb County High School.

In his years with American Constructors, John has been an integral part of the successful completion of over $187 million of construction in Middle Tennessee and the southeastern United States. Significant projects include Brentwood Academy Fine Arts and Athletics, Spring Station Middle School, Nolensville Elementary School, Nolensville Town Hall and NHC Place Cool Springs. He recently completed the state-of-the-art $27 million Student Recreation and Wellness Center for Vanderbilt University and a new Skilled Nursing Facility for National HealthCare Corporation, valued at $29 million dollars.

Since 2016 John has been working on the campus of Lipscomb University completing a $3.5 million fast-track renovation at Johnson Hall and a $4.3 million renovation at their downtown Spark campus.  He recently completed the $12 million Shinn Event Center on Lipscomb’s main campus.

John is married to Stephanie, has three children and five grandchildren.
