John Armour is a Senior Superintendent with American Constructors. John’s experience in the construction industry includes work as a Laborer, Carpenter Helper, Concrete Finisher, Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. John graduated from DeKalb County High School in 1990.
In his years with American Constructors, John has been an integral part of the successful completion of over $200 million of construction in Middle Tennessee and the southeastern United States. Significant projects include NHC Place at the Trace, the state-of-the-art $27 million Student Recreation and Wellness Center for Vanderbilt University, a $12 million fast track remodel of Elam Hall at Lipscomb University and a $6 million Emergency Room for HCA in South Nashville.
John recently completed the $23 million classroom-lobby addition to First Baptist Cleveland and is currently building the new Percy Priest Elementary School in Nashville.
John is a widow and has three children (Brittany, Nathan and Kelly) and six grandchildren.
