American Constructors partnered with WASCO to oversee the memorial’s construction, which lasted several months. American Constructors was successful in getting supplies and labor donated by several subcontractors, which reduced the total cost of the first phase of the memorial by almost half.
The memorial was built during the summer of 2009. It is a 150’ walkway of brick pavers with a granite Maltese cross in the center with decorative pedestals, landscaping, and paving area that surround the walkway.
